Conference Policies

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS: In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, DATAVERSITY will follow all Federal guidelines in place in Washington, D.C. at the time of the event. 

In accordance with current Washington, D.C. requirements, face coverings (masks) are not currently required indoors. Although it is no longer a legal obligation, DATAVERSITY highly recommends everyone onsite wears face masks. DATAVERSITY also highly recommends, but does not require, all attendees and exhibitors be fully vaccinated to participate in this year’s conference, including the latest available boosters. 

If attendees experience any COVID-19 symptoms while on site, they must notify staff immediately and may be asked to test and isolate.

These policies are based upon current COVID-19 guidelines from the CDC, and the specific requirements in place in Washington, D.C. At all times, DATAVERSITY still recommends that all attendees take measures to manage their own health risks. 

If conditions around COVID-19 change such that stricter protocols are required by any health authority with jurisdiction in Washington D.C., then we will notify attendees immediately.

PAYMENT POLICY: All registration fees must be paid in U.S. Dollars. Full payment must be made prior to attendance at the conference or prior to receiving access credentials for online sessions. It is a strict policy that only U.S. Government employees may submit training authorization forms in lieu of prepayment. Our Federal ID Number is 45-4292400.

CONFIRMATION: Registrations will be confirmed by email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact registration@dataversity.net.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Cancellations received by November 11, 2022, will be fully refunded. Cancellations on or after November 12, 2022, will not be entitled to a refund but can receive credit to a future event through 2023. To cancel your registration, please email registration@dataversity.net. Confirmed registrants who do not attend and do not cancel in writing are liable for the entire registration fee. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.

If DATAVERSITY is forced to cancel or postpone the event for any reason on or after November 12, 2022, no refunds will be made. Instead, a registration credit will be offered for future events through 2023.

Please Note: This cancellation and refund policy does not apply for registrations that used a past event credit, including those that have been transferred from the rescheduled 2020 events. 

SCHEDULE: While every effort will be made to maintain the schedule exactly as represented, we reserve the right to make changes and substitutions as needed.

PHOTOGRAPHY: DATAVERSITY reserves the right to use photographs of any event attendee for future promotions. Videotaping and/or photography are not allowed without the prior written approval of DATAVERSITY.

SOLICITATION: Solicitation at the event is strictly prohibited. Only paid sponsors who have permission from the event organizers will be authorized to solicit attendees, and only within the guidelines provided to each sponsor within their sponsorship package.
